SCHOTTLÄNDERS WAGYU

Founded on tradition, built by innovation.

 World-class wagyu
from Australia’s New South Wales
south coast

Our  daily-managed herd is currently at 600 full-blood Wagyu, on its way to 1,000, which are raised in the pristine coastal region of the New South Wales Illawarra region.

Our animals live in resort-style comfort with minimal stress and unlimited access to some of the highest quality grass and water available in Australia. In fact, while our cattle graze, we play them calming music and let them scratch against automated massage brushes.

Our Wagyu calves are born on Schottländers farm and, at maturity, are processed on site, removing stress caused by unnecessary handling and transport.

That means every cut of Schottländers Wagyu meat is unbelievably tender and packed at exactly the right time to create a superb eating experience. It’s why our meat is sought after around the world.

Schottländers Wagyu has been in development for more than 13 years, driven by evidence-based science to optimise animal health and welfare.

We began with 96 hectares and now have 174 hectares. Our lush coastal pastures create an almost unmatchable flavour and fat score of any grass-fed beef. Environmental sustainability is also important on the Schottländers farm, with solar energy used across the business. The property is located close to Sydney and its international airport, minimising the environmental impact of transporting the beef to customers.
